His research interests include theory and technology of pile foundation, soil mechanics and foundation treatment, geotechnical testing technology, marine geotechnical engineering. He has presided and participated in more than 10 items of national projects including the National High-tech R&D Program (863 Program), National Natural Science Foundation of China and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Funded Project.
So far, Prof. Wenbing Wu has published 1 academic book, 36 papers indexed by SCI and 44 papers indexed by Ei (h-index = 17) in a wide variety of high-level journals in Civil Engineering. The citation time of his publications has exceeded 1000 times. He was awarded one of top 1% highly cited papers of ESI and one paper of excellent paper selection plan of China Association for Science and Technology. Moreover, he has 10 authorized national invention patents, 2 authorized international invention patents and 2 authorized software copyrights.
